Each year a batch of new models are launched from a range of manufacturers, so let’s see what 2018 will bring us. If you’re looking for a new car then be sure to read on before you purchase a model that is due to become ‘extinct’
New Mercedes A Class
The current model was launched in 2012 and was a vast improvement on the old A Class which was more of an MPV than a hatchback. The new model, due this year, is less of a change but more of a slight update over the current model. There is a whole new interior which incorporates the latest technology in order to compete with rivals, Audi’s A3 and BMW’s 1 Series.
New Audi A1
The smallest of the Audi range, the A1 was launched in 2010 and has been a huge success. There was a slight face lift introduced in 2015 but now the current model is starting to show its age. The new model looks sleek, fresh and modern. If you are looking to purchase an A1 soon, then definitely wait for the new model!
New Audi RS Q5
New to the RS range this year will be an all new, Audi RS Q5. Currently there is only an SQ5 model on offer with 305bhp from a 3.0 V6 twin-turbo diesel engine, though if you are patient, you can have 444bhp from the new RS Q5!
New BMW X2
This all new model will sit between the X1 and the X3 models in BMW’s SUV range. This model will be competing with the likes of the Volkswagen Tiguan and the Audi Q3, which are both very successful models meaning that the BMW has strong competition.
New Jaguar E-Pace
Jaguar have released their Range Rover Evoque competing small SUV, it will sit below the F-Pace in their SUV range and is predicted to be a big hit amongst the mini-SUV market. Prices are expected to begin from around £28,500 in the UK.
